# Cystic Lung Disease Imaging notable for cystic lung disease, generally defined by thin walls less than 4mm (cavitary lesions > 4mm). Parencyhmal mimickers of cystic lung disease include emphysema, bronchiectasis, blebs, bullae and pneumatocele. Cystic lung disease ddx includes lymphoid interstitial pneumonia (LIP), lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome (BHD), and pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis.
